Training Programs :: Advanced Speed Training

Advanced Speed "Spring Tune-Up" for Endurance Runners

If You Want To Run Fast, You've Got to Run Fast… and you do that by learning more about leg turnover and stride length; and by better understanding the 'mechanics' of quickness and speed. Then, running fast is the result of effectively applying what you've learned—under the direction and guidance of consistently excellent coaching.

Running fast is all about running more efficiently. It's about concentration. It's about training. And, it's about power and strength.

If you've competed in races of 10-mile distances (or greater), and want to run fast—this is your training program. This shorter program will get you ready for a fast, spring half marathon, and will help you make the transition from winter, base training to the summer season. Why wait to get fast — get started now!

Note: This 6-week program is limited to the first 75 athletes, so register today!

Sean Conroy

Coach Sean Conroy comes to CES with a wealth of competitive experience. Sean was a collegiate runner with 5 years of Cross Country and Track experience at Loyola University and DePaul University. He competed at Division 1 NCAA championships in 2005 and 2006 for Cross Country and Track and Field, ranging from 1/2 mile to 5k. After he graduated, Sean continued racing, adding longer distances with a focus on 1/2 Marathon distances and duathlon/triathlon. Sean has personal bests of 4:03 in the mile up to 1:07 in the half marathon, so he not only knows what it's like to run fast, but what it takes to run fast.
