riding since starting the century training. I've really noticed this week
how much of an impact our little Sunday rides have had on everything from
speed to pacelines. While doing my weekday solo training rides I've found
myself riding right behind strangers and not even thinking anything of it,
and the routes that use to seem sooo long to me now don't feel long enough.
As of yesterday, I feel like I am at the "fitness" level I was at when
living (riding) in New Mexico (the most intense riding I ever did, or so it
felt), and the exciting part about that is that I feel like I'm just getting

Our Coaching Staff
Our head cycling coach, Jordan Grauer, has been an avid cyclist for almost 30 years and still fondly remembers his first racing bike. He's been a competitive cyclist since college, and in 1995, qualified for and successfully completed the 1,200 kilometer Paris-Brest-Paris ultramarathon cycling race. As co-owner and operator of Higher Gear bicycles for the past 13 years Jordan was a key sponsor of Club Bicicletta, an amateur cycling club affiliated with the Higher Gear/Vox team. He has also led bicycle tours through Canada, France, Scotland, England, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand.
