Chicago Endurance Sports offers athletes of all abilities an outdoor physical conditioning program that challenges, motivates, and delivers results.

CORE Strength & Performance for Athletes combines core stability, strength, balance, agility and calorie-burning cardiovascular exercise. This program prepares every participant with the components of readiness and endurance they need to play, compete and win in any activity or sport! Training for a marathon or triathlon this summer? This is a phenomenal cross training activity that will allow you to stay strong all the way to the finish!

Two Times to Choose From!

Choose the time that works best for you! You can move between the two classes if you can't make your usual time! 10-Week class starts Tuesday, June 14th.

Tuesday 6–7am with Coach Pati
These classes will take place in and around the south end of Lincoln Park, near the Ben Franklin Statue at the corner of Stockton & LaSalle (see map)

Tuesday 6:30–7:30pm with Coach Ally
These Tuesday evening classes will take place at Horner Park, near Lincoln Square. (see map)

What?

This program will complement an endurance athlete's current program by incorporating core strength & stability, balance, anaerobic conditioning, multi-directional movement, improved ankle stability and lower leg strengthening, and providing a fun diversion from a monotonous regime.

This unique class will include a variety of cross training activities, such as:

  • sand running
  • stairclimbs
  • hill drills
  • plyometrics
  • obstacle courses, and
  • adventure race simulation.

Improve your Core strength with:

  • TRX® Suspension Training
  • resistance bands
  • stability drills
  • balance drills
  • core specific exercises

Pati Heniff Ally Lofgren

Two great CES Coaches will guide you through this challenging, successful program to make sure you get the attention and motivation you deserve! Pati Heniff and Ally Lofgren are both Certified Personal Trainers with years of experience with all types of athletes.

Class size:

In order to give everyone the attention they deserve, we are limiting this program to 40 participants. This class will fill up — don't delay!

New CES'ers, good news! Once you participate in ANY CES program, you are a CES alumni for life and will save $$ on future programs!

No refunds will be provided in full or in part for any reason, including injury, after a program begins. No prorated fees are provided for late enrollments.
