Core Performance for Athletes—Summer 2008Chicago Endurance Sports offers athletes of all abilities an outdoor physical conditioning program that challenges, motivates, and delivers results. CORE Performance for Athletes combines core stability, strength, balance, agility and calorie-burning cardiovascular exercise outdoors—all in beautiful Lincoln Park. This program prepares every participant with the components of readiness and endurance they need to play, compete and win in any activity or sport! Training for a marathon or triathlon this summer? This is a phenomenal cross training activity that will allow you to stay strong all the way to the finish! Workouts will take place in the park, at North Ave. Beach and surrounding areas. When?Tuesdays What?This program will complement an endurance athlete's current program by incorporating core strength & stability, balance, anaerobic conditioning, multi-directional movement, improved ankle stability and lower leg strengthening, and providing a fun diversion from a monotonous regime.
