Training Programs :: Triathlon Swim Technique Class Triathlon Swim Technique Classes (Levels 1 & 2)
Ready to tackle your first triathlon? Already tried one, but want to improve your swimming technique? Are you tired of having to hang on the wall every length? Would you like to become more efficient and finally enjoy swimming? Let the coaches from CES help you! We will teach you efficient swimming techniques and send you home with a new perspective on triathlon swimming. Level 1 SOLD OUT; Level 2 60% full
Limited Space AvailableIn order to give everyone the attention they deserve, we are limiting the class sizes:* Level 1: maximum of 12 swimmers (SOLD OUT) Don't delay — our last session sold out in a matter of hours! *Minimum of 8 participants required to hold the class — bring your friends! Class Descriptions and RequirementsLevel 1 Class Description & RequirementsBeginner LevelWe will be taking a 'learn to swim' approach with the beginning group, breaking down the freestyle to the basics—posture and balance. You MUST be able to swim a minimum of 25 yards (one length of a standard pool) without stopping. Level 2 Class Description & RequirementsIntermediate/AdvancedThis class will concentrate on fine tuning your swimming skills. This group will emphasize posture and body position, but with a much faster progression than in Level 1. We will also cover skills for open water and the basics of a swimming workout. You should be able to swim a minimum of four (4) lengths of the pool without stopping. Notice we didn't say how FAST you had to do it! That's why you're taking the class, right? Training Days & LocationsLevel 1 Class - Dates & TimesThe 30-minute class will meet on TUESDAY evenings from 7:00-7:30pm, from May 4th through June 8th. Level 2 Class - Dates & TimesThis 60-minute class will meet on TUESDAY evenings from 7:30-8:30pm, from May 4th through June 8th. So, all you need to bring is your Swim Suit, goggles, lock for locker and an open mind! How to get to the pool (main entrance)The main entrance is located on Madison between Clinton and Jefferson. Madison is a one-way street going west. Upon entering through the revolving doors, head to the right and take the escalator to the top. Check in at the security desk and present a photo id. Security can direct you to the health club. Call 312-902-2040 for more specific information about PTHC. How to get to the pool (from the garage)The parking garage is located on Jefferson between Madison and Monroe. Jefferson is a one-way street going north. Take the garage elevator or park on the 3rd floor and take the pedestrian bridge across Jefferson. Once you reach the building, check in at the security desk and present a photo id. Security can direct you to the health club. FREE Parking: InformationFREE parking is available in the Presidential Towers parking garage (Complimentary 2-hour validation). Meter parking is also available on the surrounding streets. Public transportation is also a great way to get to/from the Presidential Towers. Experienced Coaches
