Virtual Group Cycling - Winter 2020

CES-IMWisconsin2016%28blur%29.jpg

It's time to get back at it and start building the foundations for the 2021 cycling or triathlon season! These online, virtual classes will utilize the popular Zwift online platform (see below for more info), and be made up of two types of rides:

  • Thursdays: structured rides, including more intense, threshold and anaerobic based workouts. (75 minutes)

  • Sundays: group, endurance focused rides. (90 minutes)

The goal is to not only increase your endurance, but to make you more comfortable (loosely used term) with working at or near your threshold for extended periods and to be able to adapt to changes in ride pace once you move back to outdoor rides. This phase of training will combine leg speed drills, endurance rides, TT efforts and shorter high intensity efforts. This is a great program to prepare for the next season, whether you're a triathlete or an avid cyclist.

Coach Jordan Grauer will lead you through a great workout each week, all based on your own current abilities. Improve your cycling technique and efficiency, so you're getting more power & speed with less effort!

Don't go it alone — join us and see how much more fun it is when you ride with others!

What is Zwift?

zwift.jpg

Zwift is an online, interactive training and racing platform. Riding on a trainer drives your avatar around a virtual course. The harder you pedal, the faster you go. This online app/software makes it possible to ride together, as a group, even though we're online. See each other (via avatar) in the app, and chat with your teammates & coach via the Discord app too.

Use your own bike & ANY stationary trainer (some additional equipment required, depending on the type of trainer you own). For more details on what equipment you need to join our Zwift classes, CLICK HERE.

NOTE: Zwift requires a $14.99/month membership fee (not included in registration fees)

Make sure you’ve downloaded & created an account on both Zwift & Discord prior to the first class)

No refunds will be provided in full or in part for any reason, including injury, after a program begins. No prorated fees are provided for late enrollments.
